KATHMANDU: Bater, one of the vice-chairpersons of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the two discussed bilateral relations and mutual cooperation as well as the implementation of various agreements signed between the two countries. On the occasion, Dahal thanked the Chinese government for bringing 14 entry points along the Nepal-China border into operation.
The two also discussed ways to further expand and continue the exchange of legislative practices between Nepal and China in the coming days.
Bater told PM Dahal that China attaches high importance to its relations with Nepal. He assured that these ties would be enhanced further in the coming days.
Bater arrived in Kathmandu on Friday on a four-day official visit. He is one of the 23 vice-chairpersons of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.
