ITAHARI: A married couple lost their lives in a road accident in Itahari on Sunday.
According to the Area Police Office, Itahari, a passenger van hit a motorcycle the couple was riding around 12 near the Balgram intersection in Itahari-17.
The deceased have been identified as Yubaraj Gurung (32) and Tika Gurung (32) of Dharmadevi Municipality of Shankhuwadabha. The two were rushed to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences where the doctors declared them dead on arrival.
Police have intensified the search for the passenger van.
