Communist forces must unite: Nepal

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that leftist forces in the country need to be unified.

Speaking at the installation ceremony of the newly-elected executive committee of the Kavre District Committee of Unified Socialist in Dhulikhel on Monday, Nepal said all leftist parties should move ahead accordingly if time and circumstances are conducive.

Nepal also said that he held a meeting with CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday morning on the recent political developments, upcoming by-polls and the way forward.

He also said that the new coalition is moving on the path of making the country prosperous.
