MORANG: Tap Bahadur Magar, the chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), has said that the Taplejung cable car dispute should be resolved through dialogue.
Speaking at an interaction on the state of human rights organized by the Koshi Province Office of NHRC in Biratnagar on Monday, Magar urged both parties involved in the dispute to respect each other and work towards a resolution.
Chairperson Magar said that the NHRC has been monitoring the incidents at the site and has already issued a statement regarding the matter.
Also speaking on the occasion, NHRC Secretary Murari Prasad Kharal and the head of the Koshi Province Office, Bir Bahadur Budha Magar, said that the NHRC was aware of every incident and is actively working on investigations and necessary actions.
