Bhageshwar Rural Municipality’s administrative center changed to Tapwa

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to change the administrative center of Bhageshwar Rural Municipality of Dadeldhura from Bagarkot in Ward-4 to Tapwa of the same ward.

A cabinet meeting held on Monday also decided to publish the decision in the Nepal Gazette.

Here are the other major decisions taken by the meeting:

  • Expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the demise of senior journalist and writer Bhairav Risal, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 97.
  • Authorized a team led by the Director General of the Department of Customs to conduct talks for the Nepal-India Director General-level customs dialogue scheduled for April 28 and 29, 2025, in Kathmandu.
  • Permitted Energy Secretary to participate in the 18th Roundtable Meeting of South Asian Energy Secretaries scheduled for May 26 and 27, 2025, in Thimphu, Bhutan.
  • Approved the resignation of Joint Secretary (Technical) Rajendra Prasad Sharma.
  • Granted preliminary approval for the organization and management survey of the Ministry of Home Affairs and its subordinate bodies.
  • Permitted the Guthi Sansthan to acquire 665.97 cubic feet of timber for the Rato Machhindranath chariot procession with royalty waived.
  • Appointed Mohan Kumar Tamang from Lalitpur as the Executive Director of the Boudhanath Development Committee.
  • Scrapped Nagarik App (Operation and Management) Directive, 2021, has been repealed.
