Bagmati Province: Four UML ministers sworn in Four UML ministers being administer the oath of office and secrecy.

KATHMANDU: Bagmati Province Chief Minister Shalikram Jamkattel has inducted four assembly members of CPN-UML into his cabinet.

Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma administered the oath of office and secrecy to Keshav Pokharel and Prakash Shrestha of Kathmandu, Rameshwar Shrestha of Lalitpur, and Eka Lal Shrestha of Makwanpur on Tuesday.

Prakash Shrestha has been given the responsibility of Minister for Industry, Commerce, Land, and Administration, while Keshav Pokharel has been appointed as the Minister for Forest and Environment. Likewise, Rameshwar Shrestha has been given the health portfolio, while Eka Lal Shrestha has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Water Supply, Energy and Irrigation.

Jamkattel took a vote of confidence from the Bagmati Province Assembly on Monday after the Nepali Congress withdrew its support for the CPN (Maoist Center) leader.

Coalition partners Maoist Center and CPN (Unified Socialist) have reached an understanding to lead the provincial government by turns.
