APF DSP found dead in Morang

KATHMANDU: A Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Armed Police Force has been found dead in his quarters at the proposed Border Outpost at Sorabhag in Dhanpalthan-3 of Morang.

According to DSP Shailendra Thapa, the joint spokesperson for the APF, DSP Upendra Basyal’s body was found hanging in his quarters on Monday. “A team led by SP Bishwo Bandhu Khadka of Kankalini Battalion has left for the battalion in Sorabhag to study the incident,” Thapa added.

DSP Basyal, who is from Palpa, had joined the Armed Police Force in 2005.
