KATHMANDU: Anjana Pun was officially crowned Miss Hong Kong Nepal 2023 in a colorful ceremony held at Yau Ma Tei Community Hall in Hong Kong on Sunday.
The beauty pageant, which was organized by the Miss Nepal Hong Kong Society, saw an array of talented contestants vying for the coveted title.
Shima Gurung was selected first runner-up, while Miss Serena Rai secured the title of second runner-up.
The panel of judges comprised distinguished personalities from various fields. Pramod Kansakar, director of administration at The Hidden Treasure was the Chief Judge. Similarly, Sanjip Kumar Lingden, Founder of Miss Nepal Hong Kong Society; Yugal Pomo, Professional Music Video and Film Director; Roshani Kharel, Business Woman and Miss Nepal 1994 Participant; Kajal Naina Serchan, Crown Partner from Kajal Naina Jewellery; Rachana Gurung Sharma, The Creative Director/Choreographer of Miss Nepal The Hidden Treasure; Sunil Kumar Shrestha, Nepal Airlines Country Manager; Rita Gurung, Chairperson of Nepalese Federation Hong Kong; and Gaurab Bam Thakuri, LLB Lawyer were in the panel of judges.
The event featured the artistic expertise of choreographer Malvika Subba, Miss Nepal 2002. Likewise, the charming Subeksha Khadka, Miss Nepal International 2012, took on the role of the host, while Miss Priyanka Rani Joshi, Miss Nepal World 2022, graced the event as the Special Guest.
Kajal Naina Jewellery was the Crown Partner of the event while Nepal Airlines and Yeti Airlines were airline partners.
