KATHMANDU: Nepali ambassador to Pakistan, Tapas Adhikari, Wednesday, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Matters related to bilateral trade, people-to-people relations and SAARC were discussed during the meeting. “There was an exchange of views on further expanding and strengthening the relationship, including the enhancement of economic cooperation between the two friendly countries and the use of abundant potential in trade and tourism,” Adhikari said after the meeting, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan. “We also exchanged views on regional cooperation and SAARC.”
High-ranking officials of the foreign ministry and the Nepali Embassy in Islamabad were also present in the meeting.
