KATHMANDU: The District Administration Office, Makwanpur, has designated alternative routes for traffic traveling between Kathmandu and outer districts following a road blockage at Krishnabhir along the Prithvi Highway.
Issuing a notice on Sunday, the local administration of Makwanpur has instructed people to postpone all non-essential travel to Kathmandu and avoid using private vehicles unless necessary.
Cargo vehicles traveling to Kathmandu have been instructed to use the Kanti Lokpath route. Similarly, large passenger vehicles with a capacity exceeding 14 seats have been told to use the Tribhuvan Highway.
Likewise, smaller passenger vehicles carrying up to 14 passengers have been instructed to travel through the Bhimphedi–Deurali-Kulekhani route.
