KATHMANDU: Manoj Paudel, founder and chairperson of Aadhyanta Fund Management Limited has been awarded the ‘Youth Icon Recognition Award 2023’ by the Management Association Nepal (MAN).
Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari presented the award during the 43rd Annual General Meeting of MAN held on Friday.
Paudel was rewarded in recognition of his exemplary management style in establishing unique partnerships between the government, private sector, and development partners within Nepal’s alternative and innovative investment (private equity/venture capital) and entrepreneurship sectors.
Paudel is an executive committee member and chairperson of the Investment and International Affairs Forum at the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI). A Chevening Scholar with a postgraduate degree from the London School of Economics, Paudel also serves as a Director at Prime Commercial Bank.
Meanwhile, MAN awarded the ‘Manager of the Year Award’ to Gokarna Raj Awasthi, the Director-General of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the ‘Woman Manager Recognition Award’ to Aarti Chataut, and the ‘Lifetime Contribution Award’ to Padma Lal Shrestha.
