KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is holding meetings of its parliamentary party and Secretariat on Tuesday.
The meetings are being convened a day after the arrest of the party’s Vice Chairperson, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, for an investigation into money laundering charges.
According to the party, the parliamentary party meeting will be held at the party headquarters in Chyasal, Lalitpur, at 2 pm, while the Secretariat meeting will convene at Chairperson KP Sharma Oli’s residence in Gundu at 6 pm.
Surkhet police arrested Paudel at around 5 pm on Monday at the request of the Department of Money Laundering Investigation.
