KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a pre-budget discussion on Wednesday afternoon as part of its program to facilitate direct dialogue between the party’s ministers and lawmakers.
According to RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha, the discussion is being organized to collect suggestions ahead of the formulation of the budget for the fiscal year 2026/27.
The discussion will be organized at the RSP’s parliamentary party Office in Singha Durbar at 4 pm.
Minister for Finance Dr Swarnim Wagle and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Sunil Lamsal will participate in the event.
The government is bringing the federal budget for 2026/27 on May 28.
Lawmakers are expected to give their suggestions on budget priorities, resource management, infrastructure development, and current economic challenges, according to Jha.
He added that the party plans to incorporate the suggestions received during the discussion into the upcoming budget-making process.
