KATHMANDU: Former prime minister and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli paid tributes to his father, Mohan Prasad, who passed away at the Nepal-Korea Friendship Hospital in Gatthaghar on Friday morning. He was 97.
A large number of UML leaders, cadres and family members are present at the hospital.
Mohan Prasad, who had been living at his daughter’s home in Gatthaghar, was rushed to the hospital on Thursday evening after he complained of chest pain. He passed away during treatment on Friday morning, according to a member of Oli’s secretariat.
Family members said he will be cremated at the Pashupatinath cremation grounds later on Friday.
