KATHMANDU: Pratap Jung Pandey of Kailash Helicopters has been unanimously elected as the President of the Airlines Operators Association Nepal (AOAN) – the association of private airlines operating in the country.
The 25th Annual General Meeting of the association, held in Kathmandu on Friday, elected a new executive committee under Pandey’s leadership.
Nima Nuru Sherpa of Altitude Air is the First Vice President in the new Executive Committee, while Subhash Sapkota of Yeti Airlines is the Second Vice President, and Umesh Paneru of Tara Air is the Third Vice President.
Similarly, Murlidhar Joshi of Simrik Air has been elected as General Secretary, Bal Krishna Pandit of Air Dynasty as Secretary, and Rupesh Joshi of Buddha Air as Treasurer.
Similarly, Binod Thapa, Dhanashyam Raj Acharya, Shrom Harsha Shrestha, Umesh Acharya, Prajwal Thapa, Nobel Kumar Rajlawat, Phurba Chhiring Sherpa and Milan Maharjan are members in the new executive committee.
