KATHMANDU: Former national team striker Hari Khadka has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Nepali national football team.
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) General Secretary Kiran Rai handed an appointment letter to Khhadka on Friday.
Khadka has been appointed primarily for the upcoming matches of the AFC Asian Qualifiers 2027.
The post was lying vacant after Matt Ross submitted his resignation a few days ago.
Khadka, a former head coach of the national women’s football team, currently serves as the Technical Director at ANFA.
