KATHMANDU: The question-and-answer session with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli scheduled in the House of Representatives for Wednesday has been canceled.
According to CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula, the Prime Minister’s scheduled question-and-answer session with lawmakers in the lower house has been cancelled due to his health condition. “The Prime Minister is unwell. Although it is not a serious issue, he cannot attend the House of Representatives meeting. He is resting in Baluwatar,” Bartaula said.
The Prime Minister’s private secretariat told Himal Press that Oli has caught a mild cold and is taking rest on doctors’ advice. “The Prime Minister has a common cold. Following medical advice, he is resting at his residence,” said a member of the secretariat.
The House of Representatives was scheduled to meet at 1 PM on Wednesday.
