KATHMANDU: Two people died and three others were injured in a collision between a motorcycle and an electric scooter in Budhanilkantha Municipality of Kathmandu on Monday morning.
According to police, the accident occurred at around 1:45 am in Budhanilkantha-7.
All five individuals riding on the two vehicles were injured in the crash. They were immediately taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for treatment. Two of the injured succumbed to their injuries during treatment, police say.
The deceased has been identified as Bhola Thapa (29) of Siraha. The identity of another man is yet to be established.
The three remaining injured are currently undergoing treatment.
