KATHMANDU: Islington College, in collaboration with ING Skill Academy, organized a three-day technology exhibition titled Futurama 2025 in Kathmandu.

Organized from August 6 to 8 at the Islington College premises, the event aimed to empower the next generation with practical exposure to cutting-edge innovations, the college said in a statement. “The exhibition highlighted the creative and hands-on capabilities of Nepali youth through interactive showcases of student-built self-driving vehicle models, robotic assistants, such as Project Krishak (Farm Bot), Telepresence Robot and immersive animation experiences.”

The event featured live demonstrations, interactive booths, and workshops covering topics ranging from cybersecurity to artificial intelligence (AI).

Anisha Acharya, chief exhibition coordinator, said the event was designed to give young minds a platform for experiential learning. “It not only boosted their confidence but also encouraged thinking around sustainability and entrepreneurship,” she added.

The exhibition attracted more than 3,500 visitors, including students, tech enthusiasts and the general public.
