BUTWAL: National Paddy Day was celebrated in various districts of Lumbini Province with traditional rice planting activities.
Paddy transplantation events were held in Butwal and the surrounding areas on Sunday.
To mark the occasion, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City organized an event at Motipur in Butwal-19.
Mayor Khel Raj Pandey, Deputy Mayor Sabitra Devi Aryal and other local representatives participated in the event.
