KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has departed for Spain.
Oli left on Saturday evening, leading a Nepali delegation to the 2025 International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD).
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, Minister for Home Affairs Ramesh Lekhak, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, among other officials, saw off Oli and the Nepali delegation at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to address the conference. He will also pay a courtesy call on King Felipe VI of Spain and hold talks with his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sánchez.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold meetings with other world leaders on the sidelines of the conference.
Oli will return home on July 4.
