KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a telephone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in the Jammu and Kashmir state of India.
Oli expressed condolences for the civilians who lost their lives in the attack. Prime Minister Modi also expressed condolences for the death of a young Nepali citizen in the attack, according to the Embassy of India in Kathmandu.
Modi also affirmed India’s commitment to bringing the perpetrators of the brutal terrorist attack to justice.
The attack in the tourist area of Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday afternoon claimed 27 lives.
