KATHMANDU: Police have released all seven leaders of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), who were arrested during their protest earlier on Sunday.
According to the District Police Range, Kathmandu, all seven leaders who were brought to the District Police Range, Kathmandu, in Bhadrakali have been released on Sunday evening.
Police had arrested RPP Chairperson Rajendra Lingden and leaders Gyanendra Shahi, Buddhi Man Tamang, Amar Pariyar, Saroj Ghimire, Kiran Duwal and Kailash Katwal for protesting in a restricted area on Sunday afternoon.
RPP organized the protest to put pressure on the government to form a judicial commission to probe the Tinkune incident of March 28 and release its leaders, Rabindra Mishra and Dhwawal Shamsher Rana.
