KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli paid a courtesy call on Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Tuesday.
According to the RSS news agency, the two leaders discussed various matters related to Nepal-China relations and issues of mutual interest and concern.
Prime Minister Oli was accompanied to the meeting by Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, PM’s Political Adviser Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic Advisor Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada, Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, and Acting Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, among others.
Oli is on a four-day visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Prime Minister Qiang.
Earlier in the day, Nepal and China sign eight cooperation agreements.
