ANFA organizing ‘B’ Division league from January 26

KATHMANDU: The Martyrs Memorial ‘B’ Division National Football League will kickstart on January 26.

Issuing a statement, the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) said the decision to start the ‘B’ Division League on January 26 was taken following a discussion with representatives from the ‘B’ Division club on Thursday.

ANFA has set a December 6 deadline for club registration. Likewise, it will hold a FIFA Connect Workshop on December 8-9, followed by a Club Licensing Workshop on December 10-11. Clubs will have to register players through the FIFA Connect digital platform.

ANFA has said that it will publish the ‘B’ Division League fixtures on December 28. The matches will be played at Dasharath Stadium and ANFA Complex.

The ‘B’ Division league is being held after a gap of nearly three years. Church Boys United and Khumaltar Youth Club secured promotion from the ‘B’ Division league held in April 2022. Church Boys were crowned ‘A’ Division champion in their debut campaign in the top flight.
