KATHMANDU: Police have arrested controversial businessperson Durga Prasain from Bhaktapur.
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police made the arrest following serious allegations that he made against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and others.
“Our team arrested Prasain from his residence in Bhaktapur. He is being brought to the bureau,” CIB Chief Deepak Thapa told Himal Press. “He was taken into custody for making serious allegations against the Prime Minister and others through various social media platforms and spreading rumors.”
