KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has returned home after concluding his official visit to Switzerland and Germany.
Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, among others, welcomed President Paudel upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday morning.
President Paudel departed for Geneva on June 11 to participate in the Inaugural Forum of the Global Coalition for Social Justice during the International Labor Conference. He and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva delivered keynote addresses at the forum on June 13.
Following his engagements in Switzerland, President Paudel made an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. Accompanying President Paudel were his spouse Sabita Paudel, his foreign affairs advisor Dr. Suresh Chandra Chalise, and secretaries from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among others.
