KATHMANDU: The Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has opened its fourth school at Jhallari in Shuklaphanta Municipality-5 of Kanchanpur district.
APF Inspector General Raju Aryal inaugurated Nepal APF School Jhallari on Monday. The school has begun classes of the 2024/25 academic session for grades 4 and 5, according to a statement issued by the APF Nepal. “Established with the aim of providing accessible and quality education, a total of 105 students, including children of APF personnel and general public, have been enrolled at Nepal APF School Jhallari,” it added.
The APF Nepal has plans to open schools in all provinces of the country.
It opened Nepal APF School Kirtipur with boarding facilities in Bagmati Province 18 years ago. Similarly, Nepal APF School Kohalpur opened in Lumbini Province in 2020, while Nepal APF School Saptari started operation in Madhesh Province in 2022.
APF Nepal now has plans to open schools in Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, according to APF Nepal’s Joint Spokesperson DSP Shailendra Thapa
