KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli met Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Thursday.
The two held talks for nearly two hours, according to the Prime Minister’s personal secretariat.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Oli said he discussed contemporary political issues with Prime Minsiter Dahal. “It is the responsibility of the government and the Federal Parliament Secretariat to prepare for the budget session of parliament,” Oli said. “I am hopeful that the government will recommend the President to summon the session soon.”
As per the constitutional provision, the government must bring the fiscal budget on May 28.
