Labor approval permit now within an hour: Minister Aryal

KATHMANDU: Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security, DP Aryal, has said foreign job aspirants will now be able to get labor approval permits within an hour.

Speaking at a press meet organized at the ministry on Sunday, Aryal said labor approval permit will be issued within an hour if all prescribed documents are duly submitted online.

“We are hopeful that this will end the existing practice of job aspirants waiting in long queues for a long time,” Aryal said. “All the hassles and potential for fraud associated with that process have now ended.

Aryal also said job aspirants will no longer have to rely on middlemen to get labor approval permits. “They can fly abroad on the same day they receive their labor approval permit,” he claimed.
