NC supporters won’t have to vote for symbol of other parties: Thapa

LALITPUR: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has stated that the party will create a conducive environment so that party cadres can vote for the party’s symbol, the ‘tree’, in the upcoming elections.

Presenting his organizational proposal at the ongoing Mahasamiti meeting in Lalitpur on Tuesday, Thapa emphasized that NC will contest the election independently without forming any alliances.

“We pledge that NC will contest the upcoming periodic elections independently. We won’t encourage our supporters to vote for the electoral symbol of other political parties,” Thapa said.
