KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has suspended its party cadre who posted photos of a young girl, claiming her to be ‘Gaushala 26’ – the girl assaulted by former cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane.
Issuing a statement on Thursday, RSP announced the suspension of Dibash Sapkota, who was a member Chyubu Branch Committee of RSP’s Immigrants Nepali Liasion Department in Japan.
Sharing the photos on a social media platform, Sapkota had ridiculed the Kathmandu District Court’s decision to convict Lamichhane for rape.
