KATHMANDU: Nineteen more Nepalis, who applied for rescue at the foreign ministry following the Hamas attack on Israel, have been evacuated from Israel.
According to Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud, the 19 Nepalis are being flown to New Delhi by an Indian rescue plane. The Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi is making arrangements to send them to Nepal via land route.
Government officials say the 19 Nepalis will enter the country via the Gauriphanta entry point of Kailali. The District Administration Office, Kailali, will then send them to their respective districts.
Earlier, the government airlifted 253 Nepalis from Israel by sending a special plane.
