KATHMANDU: The government has declared a one-day national mourning on Tuesday to mourn the loss of 10 Nepali students in Israel.
A cabinet meeting held on Monday took the decision, according to government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma.
Likewise, the government has decided to airlift Nepalis from Israel if they want to leave the country.
The meeting also decided to provide Rs 1 million as compensation to the next to kin of each deceased.
