KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) is making preparations for its upcoming Central Committee Meeting scheduled for August 2.
Maoist Center convened the meeting of its office-bearers at the party headquarters in Koteshwar on Wednesday. Acting Chairperson and Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha chaired the meeting. The meeting held informal discussions related to the arrangements for the central committee meeting.
According to Maoist Center’s Office Secretary Dor Prasad Upadhyaya, the meeting deliberated on matters concerning the organization and management of the central committee meeting. Likewise, the office-bearers held a discussion on papers to be presented in the meeting, he added.
The meeting, however, didn’t hold any discussion on the agenda that will be addressed during the central committee meeting. The office-bearers are planning to determine the agenda in a subsequent meeting which will be held after Maoist Center Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal returns from Italy.
