KATHMANDU: A man has gone missing after falling into the Mahakali River along the Nepal-India border from a cable river crossing locally known as tuin.
Singdal Singdal Singh Bhandari (45) of Dumling in Byas Rural Municipality-2 fell into Mahakali River from the cable river crossing at lower Tumling, Dhiren Singh Budhathoki, chairperson of Ward 2 of Byas Rural Municipality told news agency RSS.
“The incident occured when Bhandari was using the tuin to go to India,” he added.
Meanwhile, Nepal Police has sent a team from its office in Dumling to the incident site.
