KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to join Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led coalition government under the leadership of its vice chairman Beduram Bhusal.
Although the party had made the claims for three ministries, it ultimately settled for two.
Bhusal told Himal Press that the party has decided to send him to the cabinet. He will hold the Education, Science and Technology portfolio.
Similarly, the party’s deputy general secretary Prakash Jwala is becoming the Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport.
Meanwhile, Nepali Congress is holding its central work performance meeting at the party headquarters Sanepa to select the name of leaders to represent the party in the coalition government.
The party has been given eight ministries in the coalition government.
Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP), however, has decided to send Sharat Singh Bhandari to the Dahal-led government. He will hold labor, employment and social security portfolio.
