KATHMANDU: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has blacklisted two dozen companies for misappropriating contracts across various public agencies. As per the decision taken on Sunday, these companies are prohibited from participating in any government procurement activities during the blacklist period.
Bikas Nirman Sewa of Siraha has been blacklisted for three years for stalling two contracts under the Division Road Office, Lahan. Similarly, Parsa-based consultant, Business Nepal Consultancy Pvt Ltd in Parsa, has also been blacklisted for three years for stalling the work of Rural Enterprise and Remittances projects under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supply.
Similarly, Rastra Sewa Nirman Company of Dadelghura has been blacklisted for three years on the recommendation of the Infrastructure Development Office, Baitadi. Additionally, Akash and Pawan Construction has been blacklisted for one year on the recommendation of Godavari Municipality of Kailali.
Ahmed Hussain Construction of Arghakhanchi, Gupta Construction Services of Dang, and KP Construction of Arghakhanchi have been blacklisted for a year for not completing projects under the Division Road Division.
Likewise, Ritual Construction, New Baneshwar, has been blacklisted for one year after stalling the work of Bharatpur Metropolitan City. Bholebaba Construction of Nawalparasi, which has not completed the work of Road Board Nepal for one and a half years, and Dibya Technology Private Limited, which has stalled the works of the Department of Land Management and Archive, has also been blacklisted for one year.
Dreamland Metal Industries, on the recommendation of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan Municipality of Dang; Diagnochem International, recommended by BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Gandaki Honey Concern, recommended by Khairhani Municipality, and Karki Kitchen, recommended by Civil Servant Hospital, have all been blacklisted for a year.
Similarly, Ningbo Ningshing International Corporation, which stalled the work of Kavre Valley Water Management Board, has been blacklisted for two and a half years. PR Construction, which stalled the contract under Birendranagar Municipality, and Siruwa Construction, which stalled two contracts of Division Road Office, Kaski, have been blacklisted for one and a half years. Siruwa Construction has also left the work of the Kaligandaki Corridor under the Federal Road Supervision and Monitoring Office incomplete.
Pappu Malla JV, which stalled the contract of the Division Road Office, Surkhet, has been blacklisted for one year. Likewise, Sambuddha Suppliers which stalled the work of Suddhodhan Rural Municipality, Rupandehi, have also been blacklisted for one year. Similarly, YP Construction has been backlisted for one and half years for stalling work under Division Road Office, Baglung.
Suraj General Order Suppliers, which failed to work as per the contract of the Rajarshi Janak University, and United Agro Engineering, which failed to complete the work of Khairhani Municipality, Chitwan, have also been blacklisted for one year.
