KATHMANDU: Gauri Shrestha, an ACCA student of Certified College of Accountancy (CCA), has received the prestigious Ummed Jain Scholarship 2023.
The scholarship has been established by the family of late Ummed Jain – the first ACCA member from Nepal.
“Gauri Shrestha, who is a good-performing student of CCA, has been selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants,” a statement issued by CCA said.
The Ummed Jain Scholarship selects a female ACCA member every year from all over Nepal and awards the candidate with the scholarship. The scholarship covers the ACCA exam fee, tuition fee, annual subscription fee, ethics, and professional skills module fee and cost of learning materials from ACCA Approved Learning Partner (ALP) for a year.
Diwas Silwal, the Academic Director of CCA, said, “We are proud to have you as a student of CCA and to see you achieve such a prestigious award. This scholarship is a well-deserved recognition of your academic achievements, leadership potential, and commitment to community service.”
