BAJURA: A 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit Bajura district on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring Office, Surkhet, the epicenter of the earthquake was at Bichhya in Himali Rural Municipality.
This is the second quake in Bajura district in less than a month. An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale rocked the district on January 24.
The earthquake was felt in neighboring districts like Bajura, Bajhang and Achham, according to the office.
