KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he was committed to protecting the coalition government.
Talking to media persons on the parliament premises after coalition partner Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) decided to leave the government, Dahal said he was for protecting this coalition by forging consensus with the coalition partners.
“I am yet to read the RSP’s decision. In the meeting held earlier today, RSP leaders they told me they are leaving the government, but not withdrawing their support to the government,” Dahal added. “They were in a difficult situation after the court’s verdict. I will meet them again and discuss the matter.”
