KATHMANDU: Nepal’s ambassador to Japan, Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi, Monday presented his letters of credence to Japanese Emperor Naruhito.
Subedi handed over the letters of credence to the Japanese emperor at the Tokyo Imperial Palace on Monday morning.
Welcoming the Nepali ambassador, Emperor Naruhito expressed happiness at the existing friendly relations between Nepal and Japan. He expressed confidence that the deep and friendly relations between the two countries will strengthen further in the coming days.
On the occasion, Ambassador Dr Subedi conveyed to the Japanese emperor greetings and best wishes from President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for the Emperor’s good health and wellbeing and peace, progress and prosperity of the Japanese people.
