Nepal APF enters into the final of Women’s Cricket

POKHARA: Nepal APF Club has entered into the final of the Women’s Cricket in the 9th National Games being held in Pokhara.

In the first semifinal played on Monday, Nepal APF Club defeated Lumbini Province by 67 runs. Batting first, Nepal APF Club scored 129 runs. Opener Joyti Pandey scored 69 runs for the winning side, while Roma Thapa remained not out at 12 runs.

In response, Lumbini Province lost all wickets scoring 62 runs in 18.2 overs. Nepal APF Club’s Neri Thapa took four wickets giving just seven runs.

Jyoti Pandey was declared player of the match for her match-winning knock which included seven hits to the fence.
