KATHMANDU: Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe has greeted CPN (Maoist Chairman) Pushpa Kamal Dahal on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Nepal.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Wickremesinghe called Dahal over the phone on Friday and extended his wishes for Dahal’s successful term as the Prime Minister of Nepal.
“The two leaders held an important discussion about further enhancing long-standing bilateral ties between the two countries,” a member of the secretariat told Himal Press.
