Community schools to get school buses on grant

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to provide school buses to large community schools.

The Center for Education Human Resource Development Center decided to provide school buses on grants to community schools that undergo mergers.

According to the center, schools having 1,800 students in Tarai, 1,200 in hilly and 600 in mountainous districts formed after a merger with two or more schools will be eligible for the grant.

The center has notified schools that meet the aforesaid criteria to apply for the school buses within 15 days.
