KATHMANDU: ‘Unko Sweater’ has won four out of eight awards of the Critics Film Award 2082 BS.
The Film Critics Society of Nepal published the list of winners through a press statement on Tuesday. The society said it would organize the Critics Film Award 2081-82 BS in the near future to present the awards.
‘Shambhala’ swept the major categories, including Best Film and Best Director, last year.
“Members of this Society selected the best works in various categories based on a detailed review, technical analysis, and objective evaluation of the films screened throughout the year 2082 BS,” the Society said in a statement.
Similarly, ‘Bhuthan’ won three awards, while Ramitako Pirati won one.
The Society gives awards in eight different categories.
‘Unko Sweater’ won the Best Film award, along with Best Director award for Nabin Chauhan, Best Screenplay award for Nabin Chauhan and Suraj Katuwal and Best Background Music for Kobid Bajra.
Similarly, Haribansha Acharya won the Best Actor award for ‘Bhuthan’, while Ana Sharma won the Best Actress award for ‘Ramitako Pirati’.
‘Bhutan’ also won the Best Cinematographer award for Sushan Prajapati and the Best Editor for Anjaya Khadka.
