KATHMANDU: A total of 516,577 students will sit for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2023.
According to the National Examination Board (NEB), this marks a rise of 34,338 students compared to last year when 482,219 students took the examination.
Of the total examinees, 260,664 are male students, and the remaining 255,913 are female students. Additionally, 15 students from the Japan-based Everest International School are also taking the examination. These students had also taken the examination last year.
The board has designated 2,038 examination centers across the country for the SEE examination. Bagmati Province has the highest number of examination centers with 734, while Karnali has the least with 179 centers.
The SEE examinations are beginning on March 31.
