KATHMANDU: Kathmandu is hosting WordCamp Nepal 2025 on April 4 and 5.
According to the organizers, WordCamp Nepal 2025 is packed with engaging sessions, practical workshops and a dedicated Contributor Day, offering attendees the chance to collaborate on open-source WordPress projects. “The event features talks and presentations on diverse topics, including technical tutorials, digital marketing strategies, AI integration with WordPress, and content creation, catering to all experience level,” the organizers said in a press release on Friday. “Hands-on workshops provide opportunities to build skills in areas such as website creation, SEO optimization, advanced customization, and exploring the potential of AI tools to enhance WordPress development.
The event will be held at Kundalini Durbar, Chandol.
WordCamps are community-driven conferences centered around WordPress, the world’s most popular content management system (CMS) that powers over 40% of websites on the internet. WordCamps are informal, accessible, and welcoming events organized by local WordPress communities worldwide. They offer an opportunity for WordPress enthusiasts—whether developers, designers, business owners, bloggers, or marketers—to come together, share ideas, and learn from one another.
Nepal firt hosted a national-level WordCamp in 2012. Since then six national-level WordCamps and 17 local WordCamps across various cities have been organized, bringing together enthusiasts, developers, designers, and users to foster relationships and advance the open-source ecosystem.
