KATHMANDU: A woman lost her life in tiger attack in Bardiya on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Manisha Rokaya (35) of Hasanapur in Baijnath Rural Municipality-8 of Banke.
According to DSP Tulsi Ram Aryal of the District Police Office, Bardiya, the incident occurred near Jana Chetana Community Forest in Bansgadhi Municipality-4.
Manisha and her sister Kailashpati Tharu were on their way to Bathua in Bansgadhi-4 when they encountered the tiger. Kailashpati is unharmed.
Division Forest Office, Bardiya, is investigating the case.
