KATHMANDU: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has reported that no suspicious objects were found on the Vistara Airlines aircraft.
The Nepal Army’s bomb disposal team conducted a thorough inspection after rumors of a bomb planted in the aircraft circulated.
After confirming the absence of any suspicious items, flights at Tribhuvan International Airport have resumed normal operations, according to CAAN’s Information Officer Gyanendra Bhul.
Bhul stated that the aircraft was declared safe as no suspicious objects were discovered. “We conducted a comprehensive inspection of the aircraft’s exterior, interior, passengers and all belongings. The aircraft has been declared safe after no suspicious items were found,” said Bhul.
The aircraft left for New Delhi at around 8:30 pm.
